Wash And Groom
Our dog and cat Wash and Groom services include bathing and drying – either blow drying or towel drying (âno dryâ) for those a little scared of the noisy dryer, as well as a lavish brushing out of the cat or dogâs floofs.
Cut Or Trim
Our floof cut entails shaving/ styling/ cutting the dog/cat’s hair, while the pet hair trim option entails maintaining an existing cut by neatening out the âstray hairs’. Our dog and cat Show Cut is specifically for show dogs like Poodles and includes a number of different styling options.
Speciality Services
We offer pet nail cuts (including filing for the doggos), dog ear cleaning (using Ricky Litchfieldâs Ear Smart), dog ear plucking (removing excess hair from the ear canal) and pet deshedding to remove excess undercoat from cats and dogs.

Meet Kirsten, our dedicated Head Groomer at The Pet Stop! With a journey that began in May 2019, Kirsten has worked her way up from the basics to becoming an expert in the art of grooming. Starting with the fundamentalsâbathing, drying, and brushingâshe mastered every aspect of grooming, learning the unique needs of each breed and how to keep every pet safe, calm, and happy throughout their grooming experience.
Kirstenâs experience is vast, spanning across all types of dogs and cats, from playful puppies to regal show cats. Sheâs honed her skills in grooming various breeds, including Yorkies, Poodles (both Standard and Toy), Maltese Poodles, Scotties, Schnauzers, Airedale Terriers, Wire Hair Terriers, and many more. Whether itâs a simple wash and dry or a full groom in a specific style, Kirsten ensures that every pet leaves looking and feeling their best.
What sets Kirsten apart is her deep love for animals and her natural ability to read their cues and understand their behaviour. This connection allows her to create a calm and relaxed environment for every pet, ensuring their grooming experience is as stress-free as possible. She even has a creative flair, with experience in safely colouring dogâs hair using cruelty-free pigment dyes and conditioners.
